THE ORIGIN OF BIRDS
Researchers at the Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) in Munich, the first
description of the geologically oldest fossil of the genus Archeopteryx, the oldest
known species of bird. It is the key to differentiating dinosaurs similar to birds
from their closest relatives.
This fossil helps to study the evolutionary chain of bird, there are 11 types of fossil
and the recent discovered has high degree of variation in teeth, so that means that it
had a different diet and that the evolution chart could change.
