A group of researches found a very weak glow of light, thanks to the ALMA telescope, emitted by ionized oxygen.
This oxygen was 10 times farther thanit originated and by calculations it was dicovered that it travelled 13,280 millions light years.
In addition, it was also found with a weaker signal, but as same distance, neutral hydrogen.

Scientific field: Astronomy

Glossary:

-Fusion: Reaction that occurs when two dense cores subjected to high temperatures merge and             form a heavier core; this reactions releases large amount of nuclear energy.

-Wavelenght: Distance between two points corresponding to the same phase in two consecutives waves.

Text comment:

Thanks to this we can know more accurately when was created the first oxygen or at least the one that we believe earlier.
Besides taht if hydrogen has also been found, H2O can be formed and that would behave that can have perfectly life in other distants planets.
